I’ve been hearing about photographers degrading other people’s work because it doesn’t adhere to their definition of beauty. I have yet to find an answer for this, but only one thing comes in mind, that we all come from the same tree — photo manipulation, landscapes, and portraits — and we are simply leaves of the tree of art. Yet, people are going out brining people down because “people are shooting the same spot” or some bullshit in between those lines, and sparking unnecessary war in a field that is suppose to be about peace. I don’t believe this is what our photography (or any art), but it’s about brining fourth people of all colors and creeds together as an artists imagination comes to life. When negative commentary waters this tree, it draws a thin line — between lovers of the art that believe in community, and savages that pertain to a hierarchy.
